It's been about six months since The Strokes got any attention on the Pitchfork newswire. That's probably because we could give a shit about Fab Moretti's relationship with rumored ex-crackhead turned most homely Charlie's Angel (though, let's face it, that's still hot) Drew Barrymore, and we wouldn't dare name them the "Band of the Year" in an annum when they didn't even release an album (ahem, Spin). But, we got something this time. The Strokes are holed up in their hometown of NYC with the aim to avoid letting the hype from Is This It become "that was all we had." Bassist Nikolai Fraiture told the NME late last year that The Strokes were considering trading in their All-Stars for penny loafers: "The writing is much more sophisticated and our performance and our musical ability is much better than the first recording." Aiding in the process of putting hair on the band members' respective chests is Radiohead knob massager Nigel Godrich, who the band are trying out for a little test drive of sorts....

The blood they draw from you stimulates hormones that produce eggs. While a mosquito takes just 0.001 milliliter to 0.01 milliliter of blood per bite, she may take blood from several people before she is full. So the blood you saw on your arm may be from your husband, too. Q: Whatever happened to Kordell Stewart, quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers? He went to college in Colorado. Marc broke the pregnancy news to his proud pop during a cooking segment on Danza's eponymous syndicated talk show, which ended its two-year run in May. Per a report in the National Enquirer, it was stress over the cancellation of the show that contributed to the breakup of Danza's marriage. Before taking on his breakout role of boxer and cabbie Tony Banta on Taxi in 1978, Danza himself was a professional boxer, fighting under the moniker "Dangerous" Tony Danza....
