PEOPLE in charge of sporting facilities in the Chard and Ilminster area are being encouraged to apply to host national teams in the run-up to the 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games. Managers of sports facilities in the region who believe their swimming pools, football pitches and race tracks meet the high standards required for hosting a training camp can submit an application. They may then be in with a chance of being included in a special guide produced by London 2012. LOS ANGELES -- Lauralee Bell has been very happy working in the family business. For years she's played attorney Christine Blair on "The Young and the Restless," the CBS daytime drama created by her late father, William Bell, and her mother, Lee Phillip Bell. But now she's stepped out from "under the Bell." "I love 'The Young and the Restless' with all my heart, but it's a personal thing for me now to be like, 'OK, I'm going to go out there and see what I can do.' If I get something great, and even if I don't, that's OK, but I have to test myself," says Bell. She had just requested to be "written out of" her day job when she was offered the lead in the Lifetime movie "Past Sins." She plays Donna Erickson, a limelight-seeking attorney whose regular-mom client may have committed a terrorist act long ago when she was a '60s radical....
