Kristin Connor and Ginger Kindred would have never chosen the path that brought their lives together. Indeed, both were successful in their respective careers: Connor a practicing attorney with Atlanta's Arnall, Golden Gregory; Kindred a successful sales representative traveling the country selling point-of-purchase retail displays. Both were starting families; both had just welcomed a second son into their lives. And then with little or no warning, their worlds fell apart. For Connor, it was five years ago when her then five-week-old son Brandon was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, an extremely rare form of childhood cancer. In spring 2005, just five days after his first birthday, Kindred's son Trenton was diagnosed with the same rare form of the disease.Backed with strong support systems of friends, family and community, love, luck, lots of prayers and each their deep-seated faith, they individually rallied and steadied....

It is the most pristine place I've ever been to. It is a beautiful lake in the mountains next to Switzerland. Italy is the country I have been to the most and I would have said Rome is my favourite place, but it's a big sprawling city with so many cars and you're constantly looking over your shoulder to see who's going to run you over next. So I gravitate to rural or out-of-the-way places. 2 Portofino, Italy I love how you are up in the hills and are able to walk everywhere as there are only a certain number of cars allowed in at any time. So you don't have the noise and the traffic. I've been twice so far. Once we did a remote episode of The Bold And The Beautiful there and we took pretty much the whole crew. There was lots of dancing the night away on that trip. 3 Venice, Italy This is a unique place in the world; it's got a vibe like nowhere else....

Christina Aguilera looks like a model of independence. But the singer says that when she got married last year, she wished she had a father figure to walk her down the aisle. "I just realized it would be really nice to have that male protector in your life, to have felt that your entire life, and to have that one person give you away to the next man that's going to take care of you," she says. Aguilera was 6 when her parents separated. She has had virtually no contact with her dad since. ....

The Lowell Sun reported that on May 31 Judge Paul Chernoff of Middlesex County Superior Court "decided the best sentence would be to teach the 44-year-old Chelmsford man a lesson in tolerance that he’ll have the next three years to learn." Chernoff sentenced Tremblay to pay Harvey $4,800 in damages, double the boat’s value. The judge also ordered Tremblay to attend "a diversity awareness program, an anger-management program, and undergo alcohol evaluation and treatment." However, the interesting part of the sentence, and the one Harvey finds the most potential good in, is that Tremblay will be working for people with HIV/AIDS eight hours a week over the next three years. "I think many Americans, our psyche is so...we’re so indoctrinated into thinking that crime equals jail time," Harvey explains....

Since Christopher Knight and Adrianne Curry started opening up their lives to the world with the VH1 reality show "My Fair Brady," they admit they constantly question their decision. "When the cameras were around, we were like, 'We made the worst decision. What were we thinking?'"said Knight, who acknowledges that being on TV together has had a tremendous influence on their relationship. Sometimes it is felt destructive, he admits, "but we've been able to persevere and be on stronger footing as a result of it. Looking back, it's helped accelerate our bonding and our relationship." As for Curry, "I come from a very large Italian family, and I've never in my life been given the opportunity to have privacy, so for me, it's not a problem. What's the difference between 500 people in my family knowing and telling all their friends and everybody else and the world knowing?" With the couple currently in discussions about another season, they said fans can't get enough of their lives, and constantly want to know if the show is for real....

ARIES (March 21-April 19): As you alter the outer world, your inner world also transforms. While tending to your possessions, you might realize your priorities are not as you would like them to be. This realization produces immediate and effortless change. TAURUS (April 20-May 20): Construct a new set of goals before you get close to attaining the old set. If you're nowhere near attaining the old set, consider that they might not be the right goals for you. GEMINI (May 21-June 21): Your life takes an exciting shape when you're near that certain person. Perhaps it's the exact shape of this person's negative space, since you can't help but mold yourself around their essence. If this isn't love, it's something like it. CANCER (June 22-July 22): Instead of asking what you need to do to get to all of the tasks on your list today, ask who you need to be....
